What you do
The role is expected to work with a dynamic team to design and implement the Data Management assets that enable the bank to leverage data as an enterprise asset to support its strategic decision-making and actions. The function includes the following:
- Maintain and manage on-going enhancements in our data assets e.g., Data Lineage, Data Catalogue and Data Quality assessment.
- Gather business and functional requirements, and engage with relevant stakeholders including IT and business users to implement robust, scalable solutions for new data management initiatives,
- Involve in development of solutions through SQL and Python, for statistical analysis or machine learning to enhance effectiveness of and efficiency in maintaining data assets (e.g., data quality assessment, taxonomy).

Department Description: The Group Data Management Office (GDMO) plans and executes key data initiatives to build long-term data governance and management capabilities that enable OCBC Group to meet its regulatory obligations and digitalization objectives.
As part of its remit, GDMO manages areas related to Data Catalogue, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Dictionary/Business Glossary/Taxonomies and serves as the primary governance function in the Group.
